'91 Z6 swapped hatch
So recently I swapped a D16Z6 into my hatch and did the whole MPFI swap (https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/diy-dpfi-mpfi-swap-made-easy-2889205/) and OBD1 swap using the Zerg harness from Ebay and now I'm not getting a spark. Supposedly "It pulled pretty good while it was in the car before it was pulled" but there isn't a spark or anything. I've bought a new ignition coil, ignition control module, soldered my wires, added more ground wires to the starter on that mount looking thing and the drivers side engine mount (didn't have one , checked all my grounds, checked plug wires, checked fuses, the dizzy wiring (over and over), fixed the firing order, and just about everything else I can think of. So before I go fork out more money on an ECU (I'm thinking that it MIGHT be the problem), where else should I start?
I did a Z6 swap in my 90 Si and did OBD1 swap too and had problem not getting spark.. I can't remember how I fixed it but it was a headache.. I believe my issue was wiring in my distributor plugs. The old plugs I used had a break and wire wasn't making good contact.. so check continuity with a mutil meter on your distributor plugs to the other end of the harness that plugs into the body.. I have a Zerg Industries obd to obd1 harness as well and always thought due to the quality it may have been that and looked up testimonials and some say they trash and others have been working for years and well mine works fine.
