Default Help w/ RS*R springs???

i finally found a brand spanking new set of RS*R springs and got them installed at the shop...funny thing was that i had the skunk2 coilover setup before this and now that the RS*Rs are on, theres a stock gap in the back. i did the 'ol finger gap trick and i have about 3.5-4 finger gap in the rear. for you spring guys, how long did it take for yours to settle...or did they even settle at all?

again, this wasn't a mickey mouse job. i took it to a shop to get it professionally done...some people say that it may be the springs are on reverse...front springs on the rear and vice versa. i don't think this is possible because it was professionally done for one, and two, aren't the rear springs visually distinguishable? i mean the rears are wound close to each other at the top but slowly wind out farther and farther from each other as you go towards the bottom?

that is true for progressive springs, if linear springs the gap and coil size will remain the same

there is a sizable difference between front and rear springs as far as size goes so if they were a "quality shop" they would know the difference. If they got it wrong the front would be slammed and the rear would be jacked up. springs will settle but not enough to take up a sizable gap difference

for 5th gens, the small diameter springs go in the front and the larger diameter ones go in the rear. at least thats how it is stock.

hey...which kind of springs did you have for the accord? i got the black rs*r springs for the cb4 accord *90-93 years* and they're the black ones...i think street springs is what they are called. i don't know either, the larger springs were put in the rear and smaller were in the front...i'm rolling on 15' JDM Type R rims...so maybe the car is dropped but its misleading because i have 15' rims?
