What are "tire kickers"?

 

"Buyers" that entertain the seller, while having no intention of purchasing, sometimes to the point of meeting up, where they point out some inane detail and site that as the reason not for purchase, thus wasting the sellers time. Typically when a "buyer" asks a lot of stupid questions it is a dead giveaway.

Example:

"buyer": Is the car loud?

seller: It is stated in the ad that the car comes with a gsr b pipe and eg6 muffler, of course it isn't loud.

"buyer": Oh, does that exhaust flow well like compared to a BuddyClub Spec 2?

seller: No, it is a stock exhaust and that is a straight pipe exhaust of course it doesn't flow as good.

"buyer": Is the intake on the car a cold air intake?

seller: No, you can clearly see in the pictures it is a stock air box.

"buyer": Oh, do you think if I installed a cold air intake on the car I would get like 10 horsepower?

seller: I don't ******* know, are you interested in buying the car or not?

"buyer": Well I have $3000 right now in my account but my aunt said I could have the rest in a week. Would you take $3000?
