hey everyone my 2nd post on here (just joined today)

I cant post pictures just yet..but i will try to explain either way.

putting together a rhd eg 92 hatch converted.

i was able to find a rhd driver side headlight harness (shock tower)

my problem is about the brown plug the connect inside the cabin.

the stock usdm brown plug is bigger and the one from the rhd, smaller brown plug. i traced the wires and they all go to the headlight/sidemarker/citylight/fan/horn.

if the wires on the smaller plug where the same color as the bigger plug i would just unpin the brown plugs and repin into the bigger plug..but they aren't the same colors..

its sucks that i cant post pictures =/ oh well hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

 

Bust out the multi meter!!!

 

the thing about that is the my car is a rolling shell with out a cabin harness they..a rhd cabin harness still have to flip it around and extend it if i have to. i was going to start the wire tuck when i noticed this issue.

how would i go about checking the wires with a multi meter....im no wiring guru

 

pay someone knowledgeable do the wiring for you. When it comes to electrical, you don't want to mess up or you'll spend countless hours tracing an issue.

 

Yeah I actually have some coming next weeks to wire everything up for the Rhd conversion.
