so i have a crx dx with a b18a1 swap, had a short throw in it, no idea what brand but it was nice, just didnt like the feel(for sale i can ship if anyone wants, not ebay!). i had an integra ls dual bend laying around, but i is too wide. i fixed this, install steps=
1. remove your consol arounf the shifter, 6 screws two by seat handle two father back and two one in center consol and another up by key.
2. remove boot arounder shifter, you will see two 10 mm bolts, leave them alone at this point.
3. go under car and remove 12mm bolt the goes through the shifter linkage hold the shifter on.
4. remove those two 10mm bolts now, shifter should fall out from bottom.

5. take your integra shifter, i used an angle grinder, and cut of little increments of the shaft that goes on the shifter linkage till it fits(i cut off about 8-10mm)
6. reinstall backwards steps 4-1

after doing this the throw wasnt much longer but it was a MUCH smother feel and it moves the shifter back and up higher closer to the steering feel, about level with the radio. helped with the reverse prob most of our hondas have with it not wanting to go in. i have to ask though is there any perticular reason my shifter has alot of play in 1-3-5 and not 2-4-r. its weird. leave your questions and happy shifting!!
