CRX Koni Yellow + H&R Race Springs Bottoming out (Help!)
Hey folks,
Got Koni Yellows and H&R Race springs installed on my CRX Si a few days ago.
Been driving around here and there to test it and finally went on the highway.
Hit a bump mount on the highway and i felt my suspension bottom out (More so on the front if anything).
Currently they are sitting on:
Middle perch on the fronts
Top perch on the rears
I am not using extended top hats.
I cut 1/4 of the bump stop
The question:
If I raised my front perch setting to the top perch, will that allow a bit more shock travel?
Also, does it matter if which way up the bump stop is installed (I'm using moog strut bellows) and currently the bump stops are sitting inside the dust boot instead of sticking out.
Thanks in advance to any help!

Yes, raising the perch will give you more shock travel, but you will also be raising the car that amount.
The only way to get more shock travel at the same ride height is extended top hats. They have all 4 on ebay for like $100, thats a pretty good deal.

But aren't those from eBay only for adjustable coilovers?

I also should mention the rear are sitting a bit higher than the front. Which leads me to believe I can raise the front spring perches to the top as well to balance out the drop height. This should also give me slightly more travel as well as cutting down the bump stops some more?
