Hey guys I really need help with getting my car to start. What happen was my battery died cuz I left mh lights on while at work. And didnt have the money to replace the battery for a week so during that week I decided to replace the distributor cuz the b20b needed a 90-91 Integra dizzy and the car had the stock one on it (which ran good surpisingly but didnt accelerate as much as it should of ) anyways . I cant get it to start, I got powering to the wires in the engine harness that go to the coil and the NEW coil I bought has power in it, it cranks. But wont starts, makes a pop sound. Friend of mine said sounds like its not firing all cylinders maybe? Idk. Could it be the cap? Rotor? Is the timing totally off? I did move the distributor around and tired to start it to see if I could get it timed but same results. Any help is much apprciated. Please help!
im confused a little. the b20b is an obdII motor. Why are you wanting a 90-91 teg dizzy? And if you're using the stock dizzy from it that should be obd2 as well... just trying to figure out what your doing?
I'm confused also, the obdII distributor will work just fine either re-pinned or with a conversion harness. Have you double checked your pin out on the distributor and also the firing order? What ecu are you running?

Firing order right. And every forum I looked at says for a b20b swap in the ef needs a 90-91 Integra distributor
^This.
I am currently running the obd2 jdm distributor for the b20b in my 88 std hatch but I'm also running a p28 ecu. Both with no issues what so ever.
What ecu are you running? I may have some pin outs some place I can send you.
Edit: you may find this handy for checking wiring:

Im running pr4 , I think timing is off, I didnt know I had to put it to top dead center when I change the distributor. I just took off the old one and put the new one on and wired it up . Where is the crankshaft? So I can put it to top dead center and put the dizzy on . Im pretty sure timing is off cuz car was running fine before I put the new one on.

Is your PR4 OBD0 or OBD1?
OBD1 and OBD2 distributors send the correct sensor data to the OBD1 or OBD2 ECU.
Neither OBD1 or OBD2 distributors can be used with OBD0 ECUs.
(and OBD0 distributors can't be used with OBD1 or OBD2 ECUs)
Wrong sensor data.

I believe its obd0 . And right now I have the old dizzy that was on installed.still didnt work, so im sure timing is off. And when i say old dizzy i mean the stock dizzy from the orginal motor 91 civic si. It was on there when I got the car so idk.
That's an OBD0 PR4.
You do need the 90/91 LS distributor.
From what I'm reading on the internet, it bolts right up and timing is easy to set.
I would check to make sure you have the firing order correct and that each spark plug is firing.
Also make sure each injector is spraying.
Weird how you it ran on the wrong distributor (poorly) but now it doesn't run at all with the correct distributor.
Maybe the LS distributor is bad???

I know the stock dizzy was only bolted up with one bolt. Smh lol. Idk what the previous owner was thinking. But the coil in the ls dizzy was bad so I replaced it and still the same. Firing order is correct. If im right . On the head its 4-3-2-1 ,
On the cap its
1. 3
2. 4
Correct? And how should I test the spark plugs and injectiors?

I'm betting it's 180 degrees out, if you slapped on that distributor without noting the proper orientation of the rotor you can be out 180...very easy to do.
Bring cylinder 1 up to TDC and see where your rotor is pointing...

Yup. and rotate it counter-clockwise only.
There is a bolt on the side you turn.
Remove all your spark plugs or you will have a hard time fighting all the cylinder pressure.

You want the piston in cylinder 1 to be lifted all the way to the top (Top Dead Center)
You can check this by putting a long screwdriver though the spark plug hole and rotating the crank shaft.
Screwdriver will be pushed the most out when you have TDC
While revolving the crank one full rotation (360 degrees) each piston comes to TDC twice.
Take off your upper belt cover and check your cam timing.
You want them to look like this when you have it at the proper TDC

#1 is the plug closest to the cam gears.
That might be your problem right there!
Try putting your wires on correctly before anything else.
