Default Possible problem with clutch/trans

i just got a 2001 ITR a few weeks ago...i notice once in a while when letting out the clutch on a hill or sometimes even on flat ground it catched MUCH lower than other times, its mostly on a hill though, also sometimes when on a hill or even on flat ground when taking off normal u hear a kind of squeeking sound when letting out the clutch, not just a normal start like if u are rolling backwards a little bit or are on a hill it will do it when more strain is on the clutch, the noise is like metal is rubbing on each other...car still has a warranty just wanted to see if anyone knew of a quick fix or what these could be, car has about 20,000 miles on it, and just an AEM intake, thanx

could be several things...release bearing, release fork, lack of lubrication...if the car is still under warranty it would be much simpler to have them take a look. Probably nothing serious but no easy fix either
