Default '99 Civic EX starting/power problem

Hello and thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

I've been driving this 1999 civic ex for a few years now with no major issues. I had a couple radiator lines replaced, and did a tune up last summer with cables, plugs etc. recommended for this model, car ran even better for awhile. I once noticed the car began running sluggish, and the third spark plug cable and plug were loose, this was several months ago and has not happened since retightening. I've read through countless threads with people having similar issues but can't find anything quite like what's happening, excuse me for going on...

So, Sunday morning I went to start my car, first noticed the door wasn't auto-unlocking,and when I turned the key the lights all came on momentarily as usual, but no clicking sound or even rough attempt to start. I only hear a faint humming which I believe was the fuel pump priming. After several tries over a few minutes, I turned the key and it sluggishly starts up! I drove it around for an hour and it started up fine the rest of the day, the lights also kinda dim when rolling down windows. Each morning since, the problem has repeated and I sometimes hear a light "click" sound coming from near the battery. I cleaned the terminals and reconnected the battery, trying to address the simple possibilities first as I don't know much beyond oil changes and radiator flushing. The car always starts after several tries but I am worried that I will be some-odd hours away and it will not start altogether. I'm going to have the battery tested up the street and get an oil changed incase it's a fuel filter issue.

Really appreciate any help

Sounds like battery to me. Test with multimeter, should read 12.6 volts when car not running. Should read about 14 volts when car is running if your alternator is working properly.

If the battery is serviceable, take the caps off and fill with distilled water.

14.1 to 14.3 with the car running is what my voltage reads. About 12.5 with it off. Get yourself a brand new Cadillac ATS Turbo and the car runs on 14.7 volts!
