Default 2002 Cat question.

Title is supposed to be "2002 Civic Cat question" Haha Soo I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX vtec and I have to smog it soon. But I have to replace my cat in order to pass. I searched online and I kept seeing the Manifold come up. So I was wondering is there a cat in the manifold? If so do I have to replace manifold or the other Cat? Or both?

Default Re: 2002 Cat question.

LX/DX exhaust manifolds have a built-in catalytic converter. EX - the manifold and catalytic converter / A-pipe / downpipe are two separate pieces.

Here, look at this page.
