Icon6 97 F22B1 Alternator issue?

134k (Auto) on the clock, i've noticed when im at a stop, at a light my lights dim a lot inside and out, but when im driving there good, this is more noticeable when the A/C is on. I have a less then a year old AGM size 24 battery holds it charge, terminals are all tight, and no noise (unusual noise that is) from the Alternator. Is this normal for 90's honda's or is it a sign of an old alternator going?

Check all your grounds and make sure they are clean/no corrosion.
Also check the voltage from the battery with the car running with a multimeter and post voltages with no accessories and with accessories powered on.

All connections tight, Batt only (motor off) 12.60, Batt motor running 14.30. I dont have anything after market installed like a stereo, everything is like it came from the dealer.

measure the voltage with equipment thrown into this loop. 14.3 is perfect for a factory alternator.

Im starting to think it might just be bad grounds. I might just do the big 3, and add a extra wire from the alt to the batt. Im just glad I dont have to replace anything.

Could just be a loose belt too.

But it sounds like you've figured it out.
