Icon2 Civic HX (D16Y5) injectors in EX (D16Y8)?!

I believe my injectors are bad (250k+ miles) so I want to replace them...(I believe 1 is not firing and making my car miss )

I however don't want to put back the Y8 injectors...

I think HX injectors are much better (4 hole injectors) they will atmoize the fuel much better and give me cleaner combustion, more power, and way more MPG's!(Hypitatically)

However. I know the HX has 190cc and the EX had 240cc (though I honesty don't know too much about that)

Would it run lean? Or (hopefully) would the car auto correct/not suffer loss due to being able to burn it more completely.

Thanks for any ideas!

Have you confirmed that the injector is not firing via a pulse test ?. don't jump to conclusions I've never really heard of injectors going bad. as for your theory it's too little a difference imo, do you understand injector duty cycles and how that plays into things ?
