'94 Accord EX hessitation at 2300-2500rmp in all gears
I'm new to all this computer stuff and a friend of mine said to go onto a fourm, he said it would be easy to find ppl that know issues. Easy he said.. I can't figure out all the links here, and gotta goto bed...
Here is my issue...
When I get the RPM's upto around 2300-2500 I get like a hesitation"jerking" feel...in all gears... I thought it was the MAP sensor, replaced it, and no change... The car runs great at 245k miles on it other than the stupid hesitation issue... Does anyone know what I am talkn' about? Thanks all.. I hope to use this site alot, if I can figure it out.

this is likely one of two scenarios....the egr is clogged up or the oxygen sensor is at the end of its useful life
fortunately for you your egr ports and egr valve is fairly easy to clean out...there is a sticky in the faq at the top of this thread for a way to clean em out...also you can youtube search for "eric the car guy egr ports" and you'll get a youtube vid

Fargojerry '94-'97 EGRs are very easy to clean out, follow the FAQ instructions. After fixing this spend some time in the Accord FAQ, there is some good info for the DIYr.
