91 Accord F22A4 engine rev limiter @ 2,500
i just traded my jeep today for this car the guy that had the car said he replaced the headgasket and ever since he done that it has had this problem i have looked all over the internet and seen multiple thing that it could be but none of them was this engine nor this year of Accord it does look like the fuel injectors are pretty wet one of them could have got dirty before he put them back in oh and when its idling it idles pretty high i dont have any codes to give yall at this time but will be getting some ASAP
The only possible way it will limit the engine to such lower RPM's is a sort of "safe mode" that the ECM will put the car into if something is wrong with the engine. You need to find whatever code you have to fix the issue.
the car isnt giving any codes i have read that its the distributor so i bought a new one and no change i set the time and changed the fuel filter and now it revs to 4000 rpm but no further what else could it be
you really traded your Jeep for a car that doesn't rev higher than 2500 ?
first things first, run a compression test on that car to see what's going on with the cylinders
