My wife has a 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L RES. Today my son reclined the seat part way back. He couldn't get it to recline back up. My wife tried to recline it up but it wouldn't work. She reclined it further back and that worked fine. Now it won't come back up at all. It doesn't make any noise when you turn the switch to raise it. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

 

Will it come back up if someone pushed on it while you have the lever up? If so, broken or disconnected spring. If it won't come up at all I would suspect something fell into the pivot gear (pocket change perhaps) and is jamming it.
