so my roommate has a 93 accord with 130000 miles and when your in drive and at a stop sign the steering wheel vibrates violently but when you start driving it stops, it doesn't vibrate at all even when going down the high way, was thinking maybe a motor mount was going bad or something, any help? thanks

 

A motor mount is exactly what it sounds like. You should have your roommate put it in gear with the brake on and rev it up a bit and see if you can tell which mount it is. try it in forward and reverse. good luck there not to bad to change.
