I wanna know cause mine seems WAYYY too flakey to actually be a competent engine management under the stresses of drag racing.

What's the fastest ZDyne equipped car you've ever seen?

I went 13.8, and I don't know what happened, but at the top of third, shifting to 4th, the car fell on it's face, and today it seems fine?!?! WTF.

 

I will be utilizing my ZDyne for my run at 400HP.

I have been using it for over a year with my stock internal ZC with no problems

I know that Abaz is using it as well with his built ZC.

 

Ok, what's the most ACTUAL HORSEPOWER you've heard of with one.

Highest I've ever heard was me. 232 at the wheels with a VERY unimpressive track run with that amount of power. Maybe it was my turbo in need of a rebuild, maybe not.

Most people seem to be running LS, ZC or SOHC's on the ZDyne... Where's my high revvin buddies at? I wanna hear what they've gotta say.

 

I ran a 13.2 w/Zdyne and had no probs.

 

I ran 287whp @ 12lbs with a stock LS, 271whp @ 11lbs with a stock b16. I'm putting them together to make a built ls/vtec . I have absolutely have had 0 problems with the zdyne and don't plan on changing.

Werent you the one with the stuttering problems?

 

Stuttering went away on the dyno except when I pushed the car up to 15 PSI, we backed it off a hair, and it was gone. That's the boost level we ran it at on the track.
