At least $2000... or more depending on the job.. but make sure to get the door jams painted, and the trunk area if you paint it another color.. 
I forgot about it and assumed that the shop was going to do it...Also try not to rush the body shop, they'll do a better job is their not rushed.

I wanna keep the white color, but I don't know should I keep the Taffeta White or try a different color. Anyone know if any of these white look good?

3. Type R white (championship white)

kind of a waste to paint it another white, IMO. but anyway, if youre firm on that, i suggest house of kolor candy white. looks sweet in person, better than anything else i have seen.

i got part of my car repainted thunder grey. i got the front bumper, hood, roof and trunk all redone for 350. they did a good job just wish i would have taken off the emblems.

I can help you with your paint job. My shop is in west Houston here's my link wwww.memorialauto.com. If you want a show quality job & custom work let me know, it seems you are wanting a three stage pearl white paint job. REMEMBER, some places will not complete the job like removing the windshield, masking off for over spray, keeping the paint from fish eyeing,etc... I need to see if there is any damage on the body to you a fare estimate, being a 2000 though, you shouldn't have much damage but this is Houston. Just come by the shop to learn more.

Do you know how many coats of paint and clear coat people normally do? I just want it to be factory quality and not chip/scratch real easily when rocks hit it.

everyones definition of "good" quality is going to be different.. some will want top notch/top dollar.. while others are satisfied w/ lower priced paint jobs..
I'd say at least $3K...

The shop I went to starts their paint jobs at 5k 
they basically strip your car down. I had my car done there and love it(thanks to my insurance company hehe 
) Just thought I'd include the higher end of the scale....
