91 CRX ZC Idling issues.
Okay, back with even more!
Okay, so randomly when I start the car up the idle does one of three things
I did try searching but a bit stuck on what might actually be doing this since there is no set pattern. No CEL and light does work.
There seems to be a lot of things that can cause this, but why so random with when it happens? After it warms up it is fine so I'm thinking I need to clean the IACV and/or the FITV.
Thanks for the help, and sorry if more searching could have answered this, but I did try but still confused.
Also slightly unrelated question I have a set of sparks I never got to use in my Sol what should be the gap for the DOHC ZC motor?

- Starts fine - Idle roughly 700 (normal)
- Starts fine - Idles around 1100
- Starts fine - Idle fluctuates between 1500 and 2000

the gap is probably .040 if they're copper plugs... but that seems normal. the fast idle should idle high when cold maybe going out or a map sen? the computer has to sense that the sensor is bad multiple times before it throws a code
I'll have to see if it keeps doing it. Only had it a week now. I might check the IACV while I put a new brake MC in.
I did find that the gap is .044 (.038 -.044 really) and it is supposedly the same for the (now dead) sol. Heh, I wonder if they'll even fit. (Now I just need a spark socket ha)
