01-05 Honda Civic EX 1.7 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION NEEDS WORK
DC/MD/VA area. Prefer local pickup.
Civic automatic transmission. Came off 2002 civic EX. Will fit all models 01-05, HOWEVER.... gear ratios are different for LX and DX models. This came off an EX car(vtec engine). Transmission slips. Sometimes works, sometimes wont. I recently swapped another one in there. This transmission has 150k on the clock. These transmissions are notorious for failing, and because of that finding an EX model one is harder and harder. JDM transmissions dont work without throwing CEL codes, so your really limited to finding one in the US, and it has to be an EX or you will throw a CEL.
Does not come with starter, comes with everything else including torque converter/solenoids. Perfect for a rebuild. These transmissions usually cost about 800-1k used, and even more if it has been rebuilded. Buy it cheap and rebuild it yourself! 300OBO
