Want 2 use h23 distributor in 98 accord
It's going to depend on what obd you plan on using. If you would have been more detailed I would be able to advise. Furthermore regarding vtec it's going to depend on if you have a vtec motor or not which you, again, failed to disclose.
Normally I would say just pick up a usdm h23a1/h22a1 obd2 distributor and you're good to go.
However, I just realized you're not putting a h23a vtec motor in but just a regular h23a. I think in order to make this work you will need to either downconvert to obd1 or you will need to source a usdm h23a1 '96 obd2 ecu. Your accord ecu will not work well with that h23a.

If you choose to stay obd2 then you will need an obd2b to obd2a conversion harness since the '96 prelude si ecu is obd2a and your car is obd2b
