Default Lip+grill help

Wanna buy a lip for my 96 coupe and wanted to know if the lip/grill on the 2 door is the same as a hatch would be. Basically i found a set i like but its listed as a 96-98 3dr (hatch).....would it fit the coupe? Are there differences in the bumbers and grills?

Oh and i did a quick search but didn't see anything for "civic lip"

Same bumpers for all. The difference is as you stated, 96-98 and 99-00.

awesome yea i figured the 99-00 were gonna have some different things but just wanted to make sure the 96-98 hatch and coupe had same front ends so i didn't mess up buying this lip for my coupe when the lip is listed for a hatch. lol

for future reference, an easy way to compare parts across trims, body styles etc : compare part numbers on the honda dealerships. if they're the same part number then you're good.

ok i got the lip in and installed and its slightly unshaped i assume from the heat during the shipping, anyone have similar issues? Its not terrible but since i installed it i can notice it so my question is will it kinda form the correct shape from the outside temp or should i take a heat gun to it and kinda warm up the urethane and form it myself? Its just a slight bit high in the center. what do yall think?

no, you just gotta shitty lip. Try some double sided tape or if you're feeling bold, liquid nail.

The lip is secure its not going anywhere thats not the problem. It was just slightly warped from heat. Its been in the 105-110 w/heat index here in texas so im assuming in the shipping it got a little to hot and probably had stuff placed on top of it in the fedex truck.
