93 Del Sol - Need help installing an aftermarket keyless locking system
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to install a remote to my central door locking system. It's located in the passenger side door as shown in the picture below.

the colors of the driverside lock are black and red
the colors of the passenger side lock are white/red and yellow/red
these are the wire colors on the locking system:

and the receiver colors:

this plug should go into this box (which is the wireless receiver):

and then the userguide:

That's all i have as userguide.
problem is, all the colors are different and this might be because my car is Japanese and these color schemes are European.
Shortly said, I really have no idea how to install this.
Would be great if anyone can help.
(oh and please dont comment on the speakers, the previous owner installed it and I'm not happy with that either.)
thanks in advance,
Randy

Hi, Thanks for replying.
this is the only wiring diagram i could find with some information about doors. I hope it's enough information.

Half the instructions look like they are for adding the power pullers and what not. Realisticly you need the FSM and just find the wires that are tied to the switch that locks and unlocks the car door and tie them to your keyless entry module. I know from experiance in adding a CR-V's keyless entry and retrofitting my civic to use it. (I had to add a few more wires to the door harness in order to grab the dome light to make it work). Also as an FYI, some 5th civics cant define if del sols do or not, have a security connector in the foot well for the OEM alarm which allows you to lock and unlock the doors.
Does your car currently have a stock power lock system and all the stock lock harnesses?
First post, second picture from top - does this picture show the connector for your car's stock driver-door lock actuator?

Everything in the passenger door is stock, except for the driver door... previous owner has been messing with that trying to install an alarm, that's why those wires are black and red.
Do the power locks currently work properly?
Everything works like it should. Except for the alarm itself.
in that picture you see the stock central lock box connector with the wire colors.

Oh, I see.
The lock control unit was moved from the driver door to the passenger door, right?
The connector shown with six wires is the connector for the moved lock control unit, right? if so, two wires (Grn/Red and Grn/Wht) are missing and you have a Blu/Red wire not seen in the stock plug. See diagrams of stock 92-95 Civic lock circuit and control unit pin out below.

Well, that's the weird part. It looks like it was not moved to the passenger door. If i remember correctly then the alarm is only connected to the drivers side door and the passenger door just follows up the switch command.
the alarm installation could be the cause of wires missing. But i really have no idea where to start then.
