My name is Leo, 38 years old, and I am a huge honda fan since more than 10 years now, but in Europe, not here in California.
I owned Integra type R '98, Civic "Si" from 1988 European version, Civic type R EP3, and an S2000 from 2001 !

Now I own an Infinity G37s, but I hope to learn a lot concerning special CA rules on car registration and smog, because I want to get a civic with type R engine !

But 1 step at a time, this was just an introduction post, questions will come later

 

California is a pain in the *** when it comes to smog

 

That's why I need to know more about the process before buying a car

 

Have to have a catalytic converter that's legal in CA. The 49 state legal ones won't work. The type R engine can be fitted if you have the US type R smog pieces.
