91 Accord AC clutch prob
Had to replace my AC compressor because it leaked all the refrigerant (it was converted to 134a about 8 years ago). I also replaced the dryer, drew down vacuum and let it sit for a couple of hours with no leaks. I added 5 oz of PAG oil when I installed the compressor and I added 30 oz of refrigerant. The clutch would not engage so I jumped it to get the charge in and I had cold air in the cabin. When I reconnected the wire and pushed the AC switch, the idle comes up and the fans come on, but no clutch. With it jumped out, I was reading 55 on the low side and 130 on the high side. Ambient is 80 degrees. Any troubleshooting ideas before I have to bring it to the local shop? I would prefer to eliminate everything first because I don't trust the local AC shop (long story). Thanks
