SRS light: Seat Buckle

SRS light: Seat Buckle
My SRS light is on due to a "Buckle Tension". So would the light turn off if i purchase a new seat belt, or is there possible something unplugged under the seat? I have to pass emissions and i don't think i will if the light is on.If this has happened to anyone let me know how you fixed it thanks!
