swapping stock intake manifolds

i was just curious if it would be benificial to replace my LS intake manifold with a 92 1.7L GSR intake manifold? does the older mani flow better than the LS one or is it just a waste of time to do the swap?

are the bolt patterns the same or were you going to drill out new holes ?
