Default 93 Honda concerto d15b2 help.

hi all,i know my car is not a civic but didnt know where else to post as my car is quite rare at the best of times.

Im from the uk and have a 1993 honda concerto with d15b2 engine.am i right in thinking that my car has a service connector that i need to short out, so that i can adjust my ignition timing without the ecu interfering with the timing while im setting it up?

The thing is ive searched the internet for many hours now, also i have my car in bits looking for this 2 pin service connector.i have looked in the car for hours and not sign of this connector.

Can anybody please help with any suggestions??
thanks
dan.

What ECU is in the car? Post a picture of the ECU label. If the ECU is OBD0, then you won't find a service connector.

The OBD0 usually have the service connector for timing on the engine bay harness

I also found this connector with a rubber grommet over it not connected into anything on the ignition harness which you suggested hondapartshero,it is 2 pin with a brown and green/white cables going into it.

thanks for helping guys.

Thanks Ron,great news now i can crack on with the timimg.

Towlie from what ive read it just stops the ecu auto-adjusting the timing,so you can work on the ignition timing to get it exact.then when your done take the jumper cable out and then the ecu is left to do it own thing again.
