I checked my plugs today and they seemed to be pretty beatin.. they are brown, but they are speckled with white stuff... not thick, well... here's a couple of pics for ya...

Do these look normal or what? I'll be getting a turbo in about 1 month so i don't want to get "warmer" plugs or anything like that... let me know.

yeah that ngk website has lots of info on spark plugs. pretty interesting if you have the time.

btw, when i pulled out my plugs after 33k miles (recommended 30k), it was all white like yours, but no cracking. i dunno if that's normal.

any ideas as to what plugs i should get? i currently have the ngk platnum stock version. think i should get the same ones or what? will the platinums work well with turbo or not?

 

no you get copper version of the stock platinums, get one step colder for turbos
