Default timing belt

I took off the timing belt from the cam gear by loosening the tensioner and I wanted to know how to put it back on correctly like do I just put the timing belt back on the cam abd retighten the tensioner are do I have to rotate the crank to tighten the belt ? Thanks for the help really appreciate it

There is the step by step process in the FAQ. You can gleam over the boring bits and take what you need. Generically, you need both sprockets in line, loosen the adjusting nut, keep tension off the TB by locking down the adjuster with a belt cover bolt, slide belt on, release tensioneer, rotate engine to set belt tension, lock down nut, verify that the timing is correct. If not, re set belt and try again.
