Why does my 90-91 Si Drivers seat have a permanent gangster lean ??
If I put both seats all the way back, pull recliner lever, let both go forward, then push both back till they lock my drivers seat is reclined more than my passenger. Its quite bad, I feel like im in highschool again riding around like a bad ***. I prefer to not have to lean forward to reach the wheel.
Ive already pressed down on the recliner lever while pushing it back. Ive got to remove the recliner cover to make sure its engaging into the first set of slots.
Other than an issue with the recliner, could I just have lucked out and got a seat driven many many miles by a big fatso in the gansta position ? The foam is more compresssed and not in as good shape as the passenger, but I swear the angle is different and its just not an issue of foam.

Which brings me back to a question , that from what I can tell , is still an unsolved mystery in the EF world. That is, is a DX seat foam the same as an SI seat foam. If thats the case in swapping the SI fabric onto my un-gansta 89 DX drivers seat.
Its close enough that I cant tell without removing the fabric from both.

HAHA!!!! My driver's seat is exactly the same way. Mine has a salvage title and appears to have sustained a heavy driver's-side-rear collision. Owner never changed the seat. The seatbelt is kinda stretched, too.
All those places that have the custom fitted seat covers for our cars , none have the 90-91 Si style , do they ?? I mean like identical to the original
