some suspension fabrication
i figure id post some of the latest work i done for my suspension. i built a couple of these back in 1999 and now i decided to make one for our integra since we were trying to look at shaving weight without hacking our chassis apart which i hate! i cut about a total of 70 lbs of sprung weight, and since then the car has been a totally different animal. overall it has been a plus plus all around.
thought i share since i havent been around the fabrication threads forever. everyone seems to be doing better with there welding! enjoying the pics!
dont turn this into a sale thread if you have questions feel free to pm me.

That looks like a billet bearing support for the intermediate shaft correct? I'm liking it.
I'm liking the crossmember as well, how does it hold up to high horsepower/torque and sticky tires? Looking to shed as much weight as possible on my daily/weekend road course 97 civic.
I've also been debating fabricating tubular lower control arms as well since I'm not using oem replacement coilovers. I have F1 style/size Penskes that will be inboard mounted on a pushrod/cantilever system and the tubular lowers would help rigidity and allow me to optimize pickup location and minimize deflection using heim joints, something I feel will transform how the car handles and puts power to the ground
If you'd like pm me, I'd love to toss some ideas around and not clutter this up

Those turbo caravans are no joke, torque monsters...
I thought about making a sleeper out of one, but it's hard to find a clean one these days

Totally agree
I just want to talk to you about tubular upper and lower arms (front and rear) and maybe any other idea you have for awesome parts that happen to strip weight
