Went to Honda today to get some touch up paint for my 90 crx and 91 civic.
Just so you know, Rio Red R-63 and NH-538 Frost white are still available.
Gotta get the code for my 88 grey sedan now.

Too bad after 25 years noone's OEM paint will match the touch up paint anymore.

 

Truth. Paint will always be available for these cars, even if they have to mix up more. Not like parts which are no longer produced.

That gothic gray metallic must have been in storage forever ! lol
That color hasnt been used in Honda's since early 1990's.

 

Even if it matched your faded factory paint on the car, I can't image it being good to use after 10 or so years.
Unopened shelved car paint is only good for 3~5 years.
Even the sticker on the Gothic Gray is turning yellow.

 

BS. Ive used 15+ year old opened paint to paint something on a house.
I had to take it in to get the can shaked/mixed though.
