Fluctuating idol b16a
Ok so as in title I have a fluctuating idol when cold started it revs up and down between 1500rpm-3000rpm and some times will just sit at 3000rpm
It's got a few cel codes coming up 14 which is iac and 43 which is fuel supply system
It's running a p30 ecu and I've just had the following fitted which is when it all started skunk 2 pro series inlet manifold, skunk 2 pro series cams, skunk 2 tuner series cam gears, and a 4-2-1 manifold
So I've cleaned the idol control valve and had it running fine for a day until my hose on the radiator split and I lost all my water while driving now it's back to how it was I'm struggling with what to to?? Any help would be great thanks

I've just been having a play around and what I'm finding is that it's sucking a lot of air through the top hole in my throttle body which leads to the ivac if I put my finger slightly over the hole and slow the air down it idols perfect
So would you say it's definitely ivac?
Thanks for the info by the way

Before you determine if the IACV (or wiring) is bad, drive the idle screw in so it doesn't suck in as much air. If the IACV is operating correctly that should solve both codes.
I've got the fluctuating idol under control it appeared that when the engine was put in there was to plugs a green and a grey one. on the iacv was the grey swapped it to the green and now works fine still getting a code 43 though fuel supply system??
I'd fluctuate that idol HARD lol
code usually 43 happens when you're not getting enough fuel. reset the ECU, this may have been due to the IACV plugs being backwards. If it returns, you may have fouled out your O2 sensor and will need to replace it.
