1400-1600cc sat injectors?
Q: does anyone have any insider info if any injector companies will be/currently developing 1400-1600cc sat injectors?
I'm curious why nobody currently makes any saturated injectors ranging from 1400-1650cc injectors for the e85 guys in the 500-650whp range?
Currently I have FIC 1150cc injectors but I'm sure they will max out around 500whp.
The only currently option I've found is stepping up to ID 2000cc id or FIC 2150cc.
I can't be the only person in the 500-650 whp range who need larger injectors than 1000cc but rather overkill going with 2000cc injectors.

sorry, "overkill" is a subjective word..... lol
Not sure how to word it.
Think of this, injector companies offer 300, 450, 550, 700, 900cc injectors. It would be
Would you guys agree (even if it's more profitable for them) that it would be non consumercentric if:
a) injector companies only offered 450cc or 1000cc?
b) clutch companies only offered stage2 disc cluch or twin disc clutch?
c) turbo companies only offered 50trim turbo or 70trim turbo?
If 1000cc injectors are good to approx 500whp & 2000cc good until about 900whp (e85), then what about all the whp builds inbetween 500-1000whp?
Do those guys just have to take the hit in the wallet & give into "the man". lol
Are there no other alternatives out there or in the works besides 2000cc injectors?

One of my local friend has the FIC 1600 sat injectors (650ish whp e85) & hasn't had any issues with them yet. However FIC doesn't make them anymore reportedly due to injector driver issues if the "fuel get's too hot" or something like that. IIRC ID also use to have 1600cc injectors but came out with 2000cc
I'm not sure if there was truth in that, or just some sort of marketing ploy to funnel customers to the larger 2000cc injectors. (jk)

I'm in the same boat, I wish I had gone with 2000cc injectors to begin with. From what I've read in a number of places they idle just fine like mentioned here in this thread.
I just bought the 2150 fic for my e85 build. It hurts spending that much on injectors but if you play it right you can keep them for a while room to grow plus for me I can use them on a k or f if I ever get rid of my b18c Teg.
