My wife's car has never had any problems. Randomly tonight right before leaving our house the MDX was running at idle, a/c blowing perfectly. All of a sudden the front stopped working, and the back was still working. Nothing changed on the control panel. Tried changing the fan speed, turn it on and off, shut the car off and didn't change anything. I read something on a different site where someone had the same problem and their issue was a bad climate control unit under the dash. If anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.

 

Check for voltage to your blower motor, you can use a dvom or a test light.

 

The blower is receiving voltage. Tested the blower by jumper wire directly to 12V, worked perfect, also has good ground. Performed tests on the Climate Control Unit under the dash and passed. Performed Ohm test on the power transistor and was within spec. Performed jumper test on power transistor according to ALLDATA, blower did NOT turn on. ALLDATA recommends replacing power transistor. I guess after $100 we'll see if it works.

 

Resolved. replaced Power Transistor HVAC fixed the issue
