First time Honda owner
Hello HT,
I'm a first time Honda owner, I've had my rio red 1990 hatchback civic for about a week now, and absolutely love it.
I'm here to learn, and to start economizing my ride. Performance will come in due time but for now I'm going the economical route with my D15b2.
Not only is this my first Honda, but it is my first DD with a manual transmission.
If you guys could throw a few tips at me for owning a Honda and new to manual transmissions, that would be great. I love to baby her and get that MPG!

Tips for owning a crx.
Wear your seatbelt , always
Stop rust before it gets out of control
Think before you mod and dont buy parts you dont need
Dont race around like a ricer with that D15B2, its *not* fast
Clean your IACV , if it idles fine , still do it, eventually the idle will start pulsating.

I take it a leakdown is to test the head gasket?
I'm doing a tune up this Sunday, what all should that include? I was going to do some seafoam, followed by some plugs and an oil change. I usually stick with if it ain't broke don't break it, so idk about coolant flush and all that other good stuff. The cap/rotor have been changed as far as I know.
As of right now, it's got seeping valve seats (or seals correct me if wrong), because the only time it blows smoke is under high vacuum like leaving it in gear down a hill or not rev matching with rowing. Other than that it occasionally crank no starts. Not sure what the deal is on that. I haven't experienced it because it's rare, but my uncle (previous owner) says that's the only thing wrong.
