Default Auto to Manual Conversion Questions

So I just bought a 98 civic with an automatic trans. I plan on swapping in an H series or B series, have not decided which yet. Just wanted to know for an auto to manual conversion would I need to get the pedal assembly based off of which motor/trans I get or based on what car I have? As well what parts would I need to take off of a donor car to complete the conversion?

you will need a pedal assembly out of the same generation car as yours (96-00). there's a bunch of write-ups on it.
