Recent shoot - FG2 Civic, CD5 Accord, GD2 WRX. No helladerp wheels or wings in here
Went out with some buddys. Civic on Grids 17x9 +38 w/ 245s. Accord on Enkei RS6 17"x??. WRX on BBS RGR's 17x7.5 +48 w/ 225s

x2 ^ And not pics with a guy unintentionally photobombing while walking away, busy on his cellphone.
On topic, I like the Civic. Are those Falken Azenis? They sure look like em, and those tires are simply awesome. I'm not digging this accord. I LOVE Subaru, but this WRX just looks off. Those wheels - yes, BBS's - do it no justice. <3 the peanut eyes, though.

Yeah the Civic is on Azenis, he's been running them for 3 seasons, this set is new with the wheels. The WRX isn't the whole import/rally/jdm versions you're used to seeing in the subaru community, more of a cleanly, grown up modded look instead of import racer type I guess. They actually had rgr's as a dealership option (different finish/size I think than mine) in these years.

and I miss my front end

Thanks for the comments, good or bad it's all good with me:D
Yes I do! Full detail coming soon
but.. lol.. I was talking about the wrx not having the import racer look.. Nice try being funny, but you failed.
How are the cars plain? Plain would be a stock car. I would like to know your thinking behind that.
Somebody needs rubbing compound on their Subie!

all those cars are plain and boring!!!!
I just applied your way of thinking to all 3 cars bud. I'm sure you and your friends think they're really cool.
Lol
Lol
Thread title was a huge let down. Was expecting more than a shoot of OP, his buddys Si and his grandmas Accord.
From a photogrpahy standpoint, ISO is way to high (gives it that grainy look) and most of the angles are pretty meh. try walking around the cars more to get a better feel for what angles are the most flattering for w/e you're shooting. I'm a fan of lower, slightly angled up shots instead of eye level point and shooting. i'd suggest getting a tripod that goes lower then the one used and browsing some of the better photographers here in the appearence section right before shooting to get some ideas on shots and try to recreate them.
EDIT: one more thing, try to get off of using the AUTO settings on your camera. I know it's tough to do at first, but you'll really appreciate when ya do ween yourself off of it. 99/100 it will jack the iso up way to high trying to compensate for the lack of light. you should have a dial on the top of your camera with different "auto" settings (seperate from the actual auto mode) that are great bases to start with to better acquaint you with different shutter speeds and aperatures etc. take a few test pictures and look for the one that has a much longer exposure then the rest and go with that. usually you'll have to bump the exposure down so you don't white out and lose detail on the accord wheels for example, but you pictures will pop and have a much higher contrast then your current ones do. lastly, always set a 2 second delay when shooting from a tripod. unless you're hand is as steady as a surgeons when pushing the button, you'll move the camera slightly and cause the images to come out fuzzy. Hope all this helps!
On to the cars. love the civic on grids with the meaty looking tires, subie needs some tlc in the car care department (glad to hear it's on your to-do list! lol) but looks great IMO, and i've always had a thing for 94-97 accords, its a good WIP.

Oh and I was thinking, you're right. I should only be able to voice an opinion on 92-95 Civics, and cars of equal or less value of course.
Really man? So since you drive a Honda S2000, are you not allowed to say this doesn't look good?
