Question about CF Hoods and the Winter?
I'm contemplating buying a VIS Carbon Fiber hood very soon, but I'm have questions concerning the durability of the hood. I live in Utah where we have snow/ice/salt and I was wondering how the CF hood should hold up? Kind of a broad question...but thanks for helping.
My friend had a Phase One hood on his SiR here in Edmonton Alberta where temps reach like -30c and he drove his hood thru the winter and I dunno if it had anything to do with it...but there was dents left in his hood where there weren't any before...
guess quality is everything....spring came around and it was ok with a wash...though the dents were noticeable....

Thanks for the comment...I know a lot of people in Utah have them and they appear to be fine, but I'll have to ask around a little bit more. Anyone else...?
