Default Which pt6262 housing?

Im getting a good deal on a new precision pt6262, which housing should I run .63 or .82? The car is going to be a street/strip car. Running a stock gsr for now shooting for 350whp on 10lbs and possibly 500+ whp once I build the bottom end with forged internal.

My god, that's huge for such reasonable power goals. I'd catch you with my aunt's Chevy equinox for the first 1000 feet before you'd catch me with that level of pressure for that power. See if the same deal applies to something smaller. ( and better).

But in the meantime to answer your question, use .63a/r... For both of those goals.

Yes that is a rather overkill turbo considering it will support 700whp or so

Regardless of housing it will be overly laggy for both power goals..

Why not sell it and buy something much more size appropriate. You'll have a much broader, torquier powerband for both power goals and you'll thank yourself down the road

You don't even need to get that specific. Something at about 53lbs/min-58lbs/min will do the job, be it journal or ball-bearing in the smaller housings.

From personal experience the 6262 just plane sucks on the street. I had the 4 blot A.R .63 and it was very laggy. If your going to do a majority of street driving then I would advise you to strongly buy something else. You have so many other better options for the power levels your looking for.
