1994 Honda Accord EX vs 2000 Honda Accord EX
Hi Guys-
Just needed some suggestions about 1994 EX vs 2000 EX.
I have 1994 EX with nearly 233K miles( Just finished HG, alignment, inner/outer tie rods, all fluids change, almost brand new tires, new Drive belts, T/B and tensioners all were replaced nearly 3 years ago), now looking at 2000 EX with 140k and AT, seems like a good deal because I might be able to get it for $3000-$3200.
Now looking at suggestions or ideas, should I keep the 1994 EX or sell it and get 2000 EX.
Any suggestions, pros/cons between both cars are most welcomed?
Thanks in advance for your help guys

Get in your '94 and drive away, drive as fast and as long as you can...
Unless you have records proving the AT has been properly serviced and or rebuilt so that it functions properly I would avoid it.
'98-'02 ATs are time bombs. Some work pretty good, others die quick deaths.

98 to 02 accords have transmission issues. I have rebuilt a lot of those at my shop and once I worked for honda I replaced a lot of those. That is the only major thing wrong with that car.
Since you already have the 94 EX and if it's still reliable, I'd say keep it. The 2000 Accord might have a lot of hidden problems that you won't find until after you buy it (the transmission most likely will be one of the problems).
