I have a 90 accord EX that I just replaced the TCU in because of a burnt board. I tried to find the exact TCU for a 90 EX in the junk yard but all I could find was one from a 93 SE. I am not sure if the 93 SE had a shift button or shift light like the 1990 did but all my shifting problems have disappeared now. The only problem is that the sport mode will not work and the "S" light stays on whenever I am in "D" But not in any other gear.. Any ideas? ("S" and "D" not blinking any codes) I was thinking that the TCU mismatch might be the issue here.. Also, the "S" light will not go off when I press the sport mode button.

From what I researched is that all TCU's are Different!. My Girl just had this happen & I found 1 on ebay that sells Totally Rebuilt ones for $119.00 Shipping is included via UPS all they request is the Numbers off your orignal TCU, Vin # & Mileage to program into the New TCU board.
