Default Aem v2 for integra fit 1995 civic dx d15?

Hey guys. I've done some searching on HT and other forums, I'm finding some info related to this but they are mainly for regular sized cold air intakes. I'm wondering if the AEM v2 intake made for a 94~01 integra could be made to fit a 1995 civic dx with the stock d15. Yes I know you should always buy parts made for your car. I also know that putting this giant intake on my stock d series is basically for nothing but looks. I am planning a b series swap eventually and I have found a killer deal on a v2 (100$ for a like new) on Craigslist. Rather than wait until I do the swap and pay 200 or 300 for one, I'd love to buy this one. If nothing else I will probably buy sense it is a good deal and just wait until the swap is done and let it sit. I am hoping someone has had experience with this or know someone who has. Any info someone can share would be appreciated. And please don't hate on me for this ridiculously dumb idea. I am very sensitive. I might cry and have to call my mum.

if you really want it, then buy it and just wait till you swap to use it

theres no real need for it on a stock d15 ( even if it does fit)

If it fits with a swap in, why wouldn't it fit with a d series in?

If anything you would just need a smaller reducer coupler for it to fit on the d throttle body.

technically wouldn't any intake work if it fits because there is no maf sensor.

with a little maneuvering and right side cupling it Will work i don't know why you would want 100 intake when a $20 intake from ebay work just as well if not the same. unless it the look or the namebrand you are after.

in this case i'd say find a cheap one off ebay and throw a proper filter on(AEM/K&N). unless you need the carb sticker or want name brand but for an intake arm it really doesn't matter. no gain to be had with AEM vs generic ebay find.

Thanks for the input guys. I know I could make it fit on the manifold side of things, only thing I am worried about was getting that 4" piping down inside the wheel area behind the front fender. But you are all correct, for this motor, a 35$ ebay intake would work just as well. It's simply a name brand thing which is pretty dumb. I had a v2 on my 97 prelude and loved it for the sound of vtec, which I will not be hearing until I do a swap anyways. I guess I need to get smart and not buy something just for the name. I could take the 75$ I would save and put it towards my swap. Thanks for helping me decide to save money.

it all adds up, especially if you're trying to pay for school at the same time as moding a car lol.
