Hey Honda-tech users I have a idle issue on a 1994 Honda civic dx coupe (150,ooo M ) B15 16 valve Stock. The problem is the car idles terrible from high to low, I don't have a tach but it sounds like it climbs to around 1,500-1,700 then dips down to around 500-700 almost to a stall, but never has! I've had this problem before but it went away after I replaced the head gasket, being as though I replaced the "head gasket" I though that might have been the issue! This was only about 6 weeks ago. The idle came back a couple days ago and I know it Cannot be the head gasket, because I haven't pushed it hard in that time. Plus I bought a more expensive gasket! I've done some things of my own like, bought carb cleaner and cleaned the throttle body, and IAC, I cleaned them very well, and only made the problem majorly worse! it sounds bad! high to low Rmps started getting fast from around 3-5 sec a piece (high to low) to around (1-2 secs), it got much faster. don't know Too much about Hondas but would love to experiment and take Pic's for you guys! love any feedback Thanks!!
