Post 1996 Honda Accord not idling

Just going to give some background information first. About 2 summers ago my cam gear sheered off from my camshaft. The car sat for 2 years because once I saw that I thought for sure I bent a valve I just let the car sit until I was ready to work on it to put a new engine in. But for ***** and giggles a few days ago I went to a local pick n pull and grabbed a new cam and put it in the car and what do you know, it started and no bent valve!
So now the car runs but it wont idle for **** and I have no idea why. My car will start up and it'll idle at around 1000 rpm's. But if I drive it or give it gas to rev it up, it wont idle after that. I can give it gas to keep it running and it revs smoothly up but if i let my foot off the gas it dies. I hooked an OBD II reader to see if that would spit out any helpful codes and it said both my O2 sensors were out so I replaced those but that didn't help the idling problem. I have checked my vacuum and hoses and haven't seen anything suspicious. Everything looks good but still wont idle. I haven't dinked around with IAC valve yet so that might be it but I don't know. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas what else it could be.

Is the timing correct? IACV is also free to check, and can cause all sorts of idle problems.

Did you adjust the valves after you installed the new camshaft?

Could also try a compression test on the cylinders, along with checking for vacuum leaks and dirty IACV. Strange that both of your O2 sensors went out at the same time. Sounds a lot like you have an air leak in the exhaust pipe or exhaust valves out of adjustment.

Just out of curiosity, how did you check to see if any of your valves were bent?

We put the cam in and the car started up right away and there is no knock of any sort so I just assumed there is no bent valve. I didn't do a leak down or anything so I am not 100% sure there is none. And no I didn't adjust the valves yet.. that is going to be the next step we do. It does have a valve tick so we were planning on adjusting the valves today

Timing is perfect. Just checked that. About to check IACV.
