Default Del Sol h-23 sittin low and crooked

I just bought this Del Sol already having the H-23 swap put in it. It seems to me like the previous owner bought the cheap Ebay mounts. It sits low on the driver's side and a little cocked forward, plus the motor tips back. It makes the driver's cv shaft **** close the shock fork. Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem or knows what to do when they encounter it.

looks like the problem is on the passengers side at the trans mount....

buy a set of mounts (hasport, innovative, ESP, drop, avid, etc)

i would never buy something that looks like that under the hood....:/ how much did you pay

first post you said it's your car....and now it's your buddy's? Which one is it? Either way, replace those crappy mounts before other issues arise.

I think your only solution here is to cut off the mount and weld in a manual one. I don't recall ever seeing an h mount + auto to manual.

Yup, AT to MT Del Sol. That was the first thing I thought of when the pass side is higher than it should be. The motor naturally leans back to the firewall though.

You can always go H2B and get an AT to MT B series mount.

Have fun.

she fired up with starting fluid after we jumped the auto shifter crap
gotta check the fuel pump and main relay to see why the pump isnt working
were using the dizzy that came with the motor with the external coil i traced the wires on the prelude wire harness and found i could add it to the del sol harness by depinning the black/yellow wire and put it where the black/yellow wire goes to the external coil and adding the yellow wire from the coil where i depinned the black/yellow from and adding the blue wire from the coil to the other big dizzy plug on the del sol harness
