Default Accord 96 timing issues

Whats the best way to fix the timing for a honda accord 96 lx non-vtec. I just had the head resurfaced and replaced the head gasket. When the head was giving back to me the crankshaft was off it, and the guy just grabbed it and put it back on without looking at anything, So i think the top symbol isint aligned where the actual tdc is. So how do i fix the timing and get it right?

Rotate it around until your marks line up! =P

Set crankshaft to TDC #1, align your cam gear marks with top of head, with "UP" facing up...

Look at the cam gear - it will say "UP"

Thats the thing i think the cam gear was put on in the wrong position...is there a notch on the actual head that should compare to the camgear to tell me if its right?

yes... it spins 360* lol - rotates with the engine.... take a 12mm wrench and turn it clockwise until the UP is at the 12:00 position (see the picture I posted).
