I looked under the dash on my 2006 Honda Civic for the OBD II connector but don't see anything that resembles it. Anyone know where it is located ? Under the hood ?

 

Its under your dash... IIRC, its toward the right side of the under-dash area (drivers under-dash)

Thanks for the picture. I saw that bracket to the left but didn't notice the plug. Guess I'll have to stand on my head. Thanks again. Yep stood on my head and found it !

 

Yep I have to lie on my back in the Driver's footwell area to see it/get at it. Also, I managed to oush too hard while connecting to the OBD2 Connector and it "fell" farther up behind the dash panel. A few hours and a small sheet metal screw later, the connector is back in place and solodly held in its bracket.

 

Mine pushed in too so I'll have to fix that but for now my scanner cannot link to the car. Works fine in my other car.
