Icon6 1998 Honda Accord - gets stuck in gear

I have a manual 5 speed Accord LE that I bought new. never had problems then a couple of months ago I started having problems shifting only for neutral, first or reverse. This has happened only when I'm in stop-and-go traffic and when trying to parallel park. I live in NYC so I do a lot of this. I've taken it to my trusted mechanic (not a Honda specialist) but he could not recreate the problem and could not find anything wrong. Sent me home with no charge. Any ideas???

My guess is that your clutch is not fully disengaging... could be as simple as a leak at the slave cylinder. Check clutch fluid level.

Thank for suggestion. My mechanic did not think the fluid was low but he said he added about 2 oz anyway. It's still happening...
